Taken over by Barry and Juliette in 2008, The Spotted Dog has gained in popularity ever since. They lifted it from a struggling boozer to the liveliest pub in town with their enthusiastic management.

The pub has a pool table, two dartboards and a comprehensive jukebox. It serves a great range of real ales and beers, wines and spirits. And the huge garden means it's family friendly.

Their pool and darts teams play in the local leagues.

Great Food

The Spotted Dog is open for lunches, Tuesday to Sunday, from 12 - 3pm. A sumptuous barbeque is held every Saturday evening from 5 - 8pm in the fantastic beer garden (summer only, weather dependant!). See the food menu page for more details.

Great Events

Have your function at the Spotted Dog. The massive garden is available for parties, birthdays, hen nights or whatever you require - we can cater for a large number of people. Bring your own entertainment or have us provide the music for you. Give us a call for more information.

The Spotted Dog hosts the best live music in Dorking. There are bands from 3.30pm every Sunday, as well as on some Friday nights. (See the panel on the right for upcoming events.)
